Why Practice Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is just being aware.
That’s it.
It is being awake and aware of where we are and exactly what we're experiencing in the here and now. It's CHOOSING TO FEEL, no matter how difficult or intense our emotions are. It's a rejection of all the things we do to escape and to pretend those emotions don't exist within us. It's acceptance, but not giving up. It's choosing to not regret the past or get stuck daydreaming about the future. It's willingness to accept exactly where we are so that we can START.
